Angel's Story
![]() |

It is with great sadness that I share with you the loss of our beautiful girl Angel, she was never a pack dog to be honest she really never bothered with the rest of our doggy family but she totally adored us.

Our special Angel was born August, 1998
in our very first litter from our lovely girl Jasmine (Pennwhite Athena Cleopatra at Chazlaw) and
sired by Zen (Amiscus Cheyenne Spirit at Trezven) this was the first litter for both of our dogs and so was very special to Jackie Trevor Alan and myself, and we both kept a puppy Alan and I kept Angel, Jackie & Trevor chose a boy Ty.

There is a saying that we don’t  know what we’ve got until its gone, I must admit this was not the case with my special girl, I knew that she was  very special and I was so lucky to have a dog who  loved  competing in obedience with me.

Angel   and I were late starters in obedience in fact we didn’t start until she was 5 ½ which believe me in the obedience world is very late up until this time she didn’t know what watch me meant or in fact care.

We spent a whole winter doing the watch me and heel work to a higher standard than both of us knew existed until then.

At the age of 6 she started entering her first open shows and within a couple of shows she had won out of pre beginners, unfortunately it took another season  to get out of beginners

I know I am very fortunate to have had a dog like Angel, I constantly hear people at shows saying oh he/she won’t work if its too hot, too cold or raining another favourite is he/she hasn’t got their working head on today.

I can hand on heart say that every single time I took Angel out she was prepared to work and not only work but give 100% every time without fail.

I know not many people can say this and I do truly appreciate what I and Angel had, I know she loved me totally and only wanted  to please all the time.

Oh Angel what a special girl you were, I really hope you understood how much I loved you and miss you now.
And  how very honoured and proud I feel that we were the family that meant so much to you.

Angel has paved the way for the rest of our family who now compete and boy do they have a lot to live up to, Angel you did the ground work for the family that follow you and you have taught me so much over the years.

Anything the rest of us do now you are gone I give the credit to you my sweet girl.

Good night God Bless my sweet heart.

  Missed daily by Mum Dad
  and the rest of the
  Chazlaw family xxx
